Fairyland`s Dreams
Every Fairy comes from Dreamland. Each one is made from my dreams. Many things inspire me: my childhood, photos, landscapes, and the beauty of nature, flowers, emotions, are enough for an idea for a new figurine to emerge. When I have an idea for a new doll, I prepare eyes, a skeleton, and clay for it, which I keep in a glass jar.
The basis of each polymer figure is a wire braided skeleton and shaped to the chosen pose.
I start making the doll from the head. After it hardens in the oven, I attach it to the skeleton. Then I shape the body of a little fairy. The doll is shaped by my hands, as well as with the use of tools designed to work on small elements. After the modeling is completed, the figurine is baked at the temperature of about 130 ° C. After cooling down, the doll is painted. I usually combine two types of pigments, first I apply a mist of pastel dust, and then paint the figure with thermosetting paints.
